Hi Calaes,

The first thing to be careful about is how Excel handles .csv files, as it often modifies their format. To check this, open the generated file with Windows Notepad and verify that:

- It hasn't removed leading zeros from the ID fields. For example, if a product in the original .csv had ID 00010, check that Excel hasn't changed it to 10.
- Verify that the field separators have been respected, whether commas or semicolons.

Once you have verified the csv file, proceed to import it.

STEP 1 (First tab)

- Select the file
- Specify the field separators (comma or semicolon)
- Indicate whether the first line contains the field names
- Indicate whether the text values are enclosed in quotation marks

. You can check all of this by first opening the file with Windows Notepad.

STEP 2 (Second tab)

Here, the file is already open, and you need to select several things:

- Define which key field we want to use (ID, ADDITIONAL ID, or BARCODE)
- Define if the program should create products when the key field is not found
- Define if the stock value is imported and, if so, to which warehouse.

Finally, the fields from the file (file columns) will be loaded on the left, and on the right, you will have to link them to each field in the Sysme database. Logically, if the file is a Sysme export, the field names will be the same; therefore, link ID to ID, product to product, etc.

STEP 3

Here, you simply import and display the results (including errors).
